ARCH ENEMY annonce le départ d'Alissa White-Gluz après 12 ans : un nouveau chapitre s’ouvre pour le groupe

C’est l’une des nouvelles les plus marquantes de l’année dans le monde du metal : Arch Enemy a officiellement annoncé sa séparation avec la chanteuse Alissa White-Gluz, après 11 ans (ou 12 ans selon le communiqué de l’artiste) de collaboration. Le groupe n’a donné aucun motif à cette rupture ni indiqué qui assurera le rôle de vocaliste à l’avenir, laissant planer le mystère autour de la prochaine étape.

Dans un message publié sur leurs réseaux officiels, le groupe déclare :

« Arch Enemy have parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz. We're thankful for the time and music we've shared and wish her all the best. Wherever there is an ending, there is also a beginning. See you in 2026. »

L’arrivée d’Alissa en 2014 avait marqué un tournant majeur pour Arch Enemy, succédant à Angela Gossow et insufflant une nouvelle dynamique à la formation suédoise. Son départ soulève aujourd’hui de nombreuses spéculations : Angela Gossow pourrait-elle revenir ? Le groupe pourrait-il rappeler son premier chanteur Johan Liiva ? Pour l’instant, rien n’est confirmé.

De son côté, Alissa White-Gluz a publié un communiqué personnel, confirmant la séparation et remerciant sa communauté :

« After 12 years in Arch Enemy, we have parted ways. I am forever thankful to the thousands of amazing fans I have met along the way. Thank you, Beastlings! I can't wait to share what I have been working on with you all (with some big surprises in store). Stay tuned for big news in 2026 and see you very soon. »

L’artiste laisse entendre qu’elle prépare un nouveau projet, potentiellement annoncé en 2026. Entre nostalgie et promesses d’avenir, cette séparation ouvre une page totalement nouvelle pour Arch Enemy comme pour Alissa.
